Tropical Diseases (NTD’s): Neglected?
Mosquitoes can be annoying, but they can also be deadly if carrying certain diseases.

It is treatable by common methods. A neglected tropical disease is defined by being poverty related, located in the tropics or subtropics, lacking public health attention, having low research funding, causing illness, but not usually death, and not usually having a specific course of treatment.
