Depression Turned Around With Therapy Despite Genetics
Depression is a crippling disorder and if a loved one is depressed, you know the pain and suffering that surrounds this disorder. A new study is showing VERY promising hope for sufferers of depression, their loved ones and children.
Researchers, using rats bred for depression and normal rats in depressing environments, tested blood bio markers in both groups. What they noted was despite genetically being predisposed to depression the environment with which these rats lived could turn the depression around. The induced rats also had different bio markers than the genetic rats. Differentiating between the two can vastly improve quality of life and effective treatments. Click below to learn more.
